Meeting the health care needs of the communities we serve is the cornerstone of California Pacific Medical Center’s not-for-profit mission. That mission extends to serving those who cannot afford health care and to supporting programs and services for those in financial need. The California Pacific Medical Center Community Health Programs Department develops community benefit programs and services to improve health in San Francisco communities and increase access to health care.

The Community Health Programs Department vision is to reduce health disparities in vulnerable populations. We enhance the quality of life of all people we serve by promoting their health and well-being. We work collaboratively to build capacity within the communities and ensure equal access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services and resources

Our mission is to transform the lives of the people in our community. Our efforts focus on actively engaging community members and stakeholders in the planning, designing and delivery of holistic, compassionate and caring services and programs that address unmet needs.
