    William J. Snape, Jr., M.D., Medical Director Center for Neurogastroenterology and Motility

    William J. Snape, Jr., M.D. completed his undergraduate at Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey and continued on to obtain his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From there he moved on the complete his postgraduate training at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time, Dr. Snape spent three years as an internist for the United States Navy at Orlando Naval Hospital in Orlando, Florida.

    Dr. Snape has been an Assistant and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Director of the Center for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (NIH) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. He has joined California Pacific , offering leading-edge motility studies providing diagnostic evaluation for patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders. Dr. Snape is recognized as a foremost expert on motility studies.
