Nursing at California Pacific has a long and rich history. In 1880, the first nursing school west of the Rockies was opened at the California Campus and shortly after nursing schools opened at the Pacific, Davies and St. Luke's Campuses. Together, these four hospitals with their nurses, led the way for setting the standard for nursing care in the early 1900’s. California Pacific’s nurses continue to lead the way in setting the standard for what is important in nursing care.
We're proud of California Pacific Medical Center's tradition of nursing excellence. We are committed to developing and retaining the best nurses in the Bay Area. Whether you are brand new or returning to the profession, you will find the support and resources you need to accomplish your goals at California Pacific Medical Center.
