Preparing for Surgery
You must pre-register with the Admissions Department prior to your procedure. Check to see on which of the campuses your procedure is scheduled and follow the instructions for that campus. Our nurse facilitators and registration team understand that you have many questions and concerns and will assist you in preparing for your procedure.
Some patients have found guided imagery helpful both in preparing for surgery and during recovery. Learn more about this relaxation technique.

California Campus
The California Campus is comprised of the West Campus at 3700 California Street and the East Campus at 3698 California Street.
Directions to our California Campus.
The West Campus is located at 3700 California Street.
Patients who have not completed the pre-registration process should stop at the registration desk before proceeding to the 3rd floor.
The East Campus is located at 3698 California Street.
An alternate entrance for patients needing assistance is available from the driveway on the Maple Street side of 3698 California Street.
Patients who have not completed the pre-registration process should stop at the registration desk on the lobby level (across from the elevator).

Davies Campus
The Davies Campus is located at Castro and Duboce Streets. Go to North Tower, 1st floor.
There is a wheelchair entrance at the Castro and Duboce entrance to the hospital.
